Roadtrip to Uptrend Kennels, Sale VIC

We were only put to bed at 2:30 by mother Rickard, and were woken up at 5h45 to head off again to Sale to visit Rosie and Sarah Beaman with their ESS and Porties!

The trip was great and we managed not to get lost on the way there - well not entirely.  We left Gisborne at 6h30 and arrived in Sale just after 11am!  I can't believe that the max speed here is just 110km/h and in most places only 80km/h! 

I started by grooming Jet:

Once we got Jet all spruced up - we headed back home to Gisborne - leaving Sale at around 4:30pm.

We were obviously ready for supper and when we saw this road name, we knew that is where we were meant to be:

We soon found a PIZZA HUT!   Needless to say, I was in heaven - not having to contend with lettuce and tomato! :-D

Then, to my absolute shock, we had to re-fuel and Chris got out and filled the car himself!!!  As proof:

After getting hopeless lost on all these highways, we finally made is back to David & Stephanie's around 10pm.

Off to bed now ~ more tommorrow! :-D

I have arrived! :-D

I arrived in Melbourne an hour before expected.  The flight was great - had a really nice pharmacist sitting next to me that gave me the best sleeping tablet ever!  I woke up for the first time 2 hours before we were due to land!

I managed to clear customs OK, after the removed all my grooming equipment and took it to the sanitizing room to be sprayed down with antibacterial stuff!  Anyway, I survived and luckily Steph was standing outside waiting for me!

We've just had supper, and now going to chill.... can't believe I have go to bed again soon! :-)

 Ok, so everything did fit into the dufflebag!  Just not sure how I'm going to be able to carry it! :-P

Getting ready....

In just a few hours (4 days to be exact!) I'll be heading off to Melbourne, Australia!  It's only a 13 hour flight... here's hoping they have good in-flight entertainment!

Stephanie & David Rickard will meet me at Tullamarine Airport on arrival and I'll spend the first few days with them before we head off to Sydney... the infamous ROADTRIP!
